Siurana

After about 3 amazing weeks of climbing in Margalef I moved to Siurana. It is also amazing here, although I liked the peace and loneliness there better. I was living besides a wonderful lake surrounded by yellow-orange- grey cliffs and splendid green hills full with rosemary and other wonderful scenting plants. The climbing was also great: conglomerate, always good feet, good pockets and when no pockets available I could sort of just stick my hands to anything.. Amazing.

Then Santa Linya - the most impressive grot I have ever seen - it´s dimension is simply unimaginable and hard to absorb once you get there. Of course I was rather being impressed by the dimensions and lines, as all the routes are very hard there.

And now Siurana... I met some Romanians and Bulgarians here, it is fun climbing with them. In Romanian!! Also some friends from Ceuse, which is really cool, we share beautiful memories.

Right now I am reconsidering my vegetarian status or - rather ambitions, as I worryingly noticed that the dozens of cats wandering around the campsite awaken savage hunter instincts in me... I wonder how come they are so nonchalant and seem to be totally ignorant to the possibility that some hungry climber will catch them by their tail, cut their throats, skin them and then fry them until their meet is juicy and fresh... I at least am having these fantasies each time one passes by...
