Piscineta climbing

Piscineta is the farthest climbing sector in Rodellar, you need one hour to get there. You can do this either by crossing the mountain or by rafting through the conjunction of the river Mascun (the canyon where all other climbing sectors are located) and the river Andrebot. After a swim & hike through the river you get to this huge amazing overhang. It is home to some of the most beautiful lines in Rodellar they say: long, hard and obviously enough - overhanging routes.

In the summertime when the main sectors were flooded with people and heat, Piscineta would offer us a more quiet and cool spot. I would go there mainly for the fun of the whole experience: the walk, the view, the ambiance and one route. The habitual gang there were the most fanatic and motivated climbers in Rodellar.

The easiest route there is a 7b+ and is the only one in that range...all others start from 8a onwards. I had been trying this route for quite some. I even trained walking there, because the walk made me tired for the climbing. Then when I finally sent the route (i.e. climbed it without falling) it was a wonderful feeling! I felt stronger than ever.
